Fall down dead
When it’s time for the lo-fi indie pop Olympics this year, it looks like the Americans are the early favourites. They’re already got the established big litters like Pains of Being Pure at Heart and the Vivian Girls strutting around like the medals are theirs already. The new blood is on the way too as the likes of Harlem are being considered for elibibility to compete. But what of team GB? Well, we have plenty of excellent, excitable youngsters like Internet Forever well up for a go. But best of all we have the ultimate secret weapon in the shape of Veronica Falls. With them on our side, we can’t lose.
