This was a decent year for gigs, which means that I can actually do a top ten gigs this year, without listing almost all the gigs I went to. However, it’s the calm before the storm. The anticipated arrival of Baby Growl No.2 in early February means that the first half of next year will be a live music wipe-out. The Pavement gig on 11 May could well be my return to gig action. Who knows. It’s been good to get out a bit more this year, although I’ll never be able to go to all I’d want to, even if there weren’t small people at home. However, as I’ve drawn up my top ten list, there doesn’t seem to have been any particular stand-outs, so I’m not grading these.
