It’s been a while, so I’m having another glance at the rotting tower of CD singles in the corner of this room to see what’s next in line. Before I leave the H’s, I need to post this tune by David Holmes. I own nothing else by the Northern Irish DJ, producer and friend of the stars, and neither have I had any desire to. I can’t even remember if I bought this song because I liked it or because it was in Ocean’s 11, though I suspect it was the former. It’s off Holmes’ 2000 album Bow Down to the Exit Sign, which I remember causing a bit of a stir at the time, but I never made it further than this song. It’s a good tune. Digging it out now, with hazy memories of myself dancing in the lounge of an old flat to it (what was the occasion?), it still sounds good. Not sure why. It just is.
