Quick post, because it’s late. Not that I need to say much, because I’ve previously bestowed all due praise on Meursault, because they’re great. They played live on BBC 6 Music a week or so ago, as guests of fellow Edinburgh man Vic Galloway, standing in for Marc Riley. Since then Marc’s been playing Nothing Broke, and has added his voice of approval. No less than this fine band deserve. I mean, in an ideal world, they’d be all over the 6 Music playlist like a rash, but instead we get Kasabian, Muse and The Cribs. Ah, well, I never listen to daytime radio anyway, and as long as there are good fellows like Marc and Vic to bring us this sort of goodness, that will do nicely.

mp3: Meursault - A Few Kind Words (live on BBC 6 Music)
mp3: Meursault - Crank Resolutions (live on BBC 6 Music)
mp3: Meursault - Nothing Broke (live on BBC 6 Music)

Word of warning - at least a couple of these are cut slightly short due to talking over the last lingering note. But Crank Resolutions is a new song, so you win some…
