The last of the melting snow

As the last of the lovely white stuff which brought so much fun to London on Monday disappears from our streets and parks, there’s surely no more appropriate tune than the one below.

The Leisure Society was founded by Nick Hemming and Christian Hardy. Nick used to play in a band with Paddy Considine and Shane Meadows as well as The Telescopes. They’re part of the Brighton-based Willkommen Collective (more on them later) and count among their number violinist Mike Siddell, formerly of Hope of the States (more on him later too). They’re very good, as well as topical and if you want something to look at as well as listen to, check out their bandstand busk below.
